Charleston is one of my favorite cities. I love the salty air, the old sleepy beach town feel, and the food! My in-laws live down that way, and frequent visits are a must. In some ways, it feels like a second home.

Morgan Creek Grill is the best place for brunch. Anyone that knows me, knows that breakfast/brunch is a big deal to me. Anyhoo, this place is on the intercoastal waterway, and the view is amazing. I love to watch the boats go by, and maybe catch a glimpse of dolphins. The grill has a killer bloody mary bar on Sundays-with all the proper fixin’s! They had me with the pickled okra.

The menu is great…she-crab soup, shrimp and grits, seafood omellettes, and several different takes on Eggs Benedict. I love the Kansas City Benedict:
