School has just entered the final stretch. I have about 5 weeks to go, and my first semester of nursing school is OVER! It’s been great. My classmates are awesome and soooo supportive of each other. We’ve had a minimal amount of dropouts, and our instructors are consistently impressed by our test performance. This class is gonna turn out some awesome and competent nurses!
With all that said, it’s been a little challenging staying focused. I often find myself distracted by Facebook, Twitter, this little blog, and Pinterest. I’ve got a bad case of “premature senior-itis”. It also doesn’t help that I’ve recently acquired a new toy that does this:
And this:
I’ve been shooting with my outdated, but still useful Sony Cybershot. I forgot how much digital cameras have progressed. This new camera has rejuvenated my inner shutterbug. I should be hitting the books; but instead, I’m blabbing about photography!
This weekend is going to be extra challenging to stay on task. I really need to study for an exam; but all I can think about is building a light box for indoor shots. Like this one from (never home)maker.com. They’ve broken the process down into simple steps, using easy to find items.

This is going to open a whole ‘nother level of picture taking!
